The small fishing village of Fiscardo seems like idealistic painting combined by Venetian colorful houses, shaped bay filled with fishing boats and yachts .

Katelios village and its lovely beach of the same name are located 29 km from Argostoli. The area is known for its peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a family vacation and nature lovers, while the coast is recommended for long walks and sunbathing. The beautiful resort of Skala lies 36 km southeast of Argostoli and 12 km from Poros. It counts 800 inhabitants, most of whom are involved in fishing and agriculture.
The settlement was built after the major earthquake of 1953 that destroyed the ancient village of Skala. The ruins of Old Skala still survive today.
